My name is Andrea - and I'm a Torontonian living my dream of owning a house in the city, and turning it into a home. I'm kind of obsessed with Toronto real estate, home design, decor and finding innovative and creative ways to make a space functional for the modern urban dweller, in a not-so-modern home.
My husband Steve and I just got hitched April 26, 2014, after 8 years together. We went on an amazing honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, then came home and promptly purchased a 90-year-old semi-detached home in the city, which happened very fast! We didn't waste any time on that front. I'm really excited and passionate to see the changes we make to turn this house into a home.
My life is nothing short of crazy. I work in the broadcast advertising industry and really love it. I'm a lover of music, art and home design. I love our Lhasa-poo Ruby, a good cup of tea, and a good dance party. I have roots in print journalism, and hope this blog can spark a creative outlet in writing. I love spending time with my fantastic and supportive friends, my kind and hilarious husband, and spending time with our fun and crazy (the good kind of crazy!) families.
I hope you enjoy the musings I capture on this blog, and hope our experiences resonate and relate to you somehow, for your own path in life.
