Okay, so technically the title of this post is WRONG, because "Je suis amoureux" is the masculine way of saying "I am in love" rather than the feminine way which is "Je suis amoureuse".....but the male version rhymes a lot better, soooo I went with that.
Anyway, this post is about a newly discovered (or I should say newly appreciated) site that I'm enamoured with called Polyvore. If you haven't seen this site, or if you aren't familiar with it, then be prepared because I just might just blow your mind.
Polyvore.com is similar to Pinterest, in that you can search for things and then save them to look at later, but instead of saving things to boards, you CREATE collages combining different items/styles/colours/ that go together, whether it be an outfit, furniture, home decor, etc. There is everything for every taste and palette.
I discovered this on another Toronto home blog that I've been following in and love (see my Link Love section for a link to it), and haven't looked back since!
So of course I've been sucked in, and having just moved into a new house - this is the perfect playground for me to organize my ideas and thoughts about how the Hubs and I want to decorate/design our home, over time.
So far, I've put together collages on Polyvore for the bathroom, living room & bedroom. Of course these aren't set in stone, but it's a great way to see the vision you have in your head, all mapped out before it actually happens so you know if what you want will work or not. Another good feature, is that it tells you where you can get each item, the price and will link you to the website to either view or order. Pretty neat-o.
Here's what I've got so far:

So, you can see what I mean about getting lost in this site! There are a lot of personal touches that would be added that you can't find on the site, but then again - thre may be things you didn't know you would use.
Anyway, just some ideas that I'm toying with for a few of the rooms. Time will tell if the looks of these spaces will actually turn out the way I've done them here.
